Is It Spring

It’s a sunny spring Friday here in Prescott. The weekend is here and I got mountain biking on my mind. Sunday I am going out with some Alumni to observe a pair of nesting bald eagles. I need a break, after a full week of crunch time. I mean crunch time I have only four weeks left in my first quarter at the College. It has been everything I imagined and more. Challenging courses, great surround landscapes, amazing people with amazing ideas, and community that cares. This is Prescott College.

Desert Break

Spring break 06 is now over and it was a wicked awesome time. I was going to stay Arizona and explore since there is so much around here, but we got hammered with about 2 ft. of white gold (snow). So I headed down into the Mohave Desert to try and get away from the snow but snow was all over the southwest. It is amazing to wake up to snow in the desert and be gone by around noon. I backpacked the “Hole in the wall” to “Mid Hill” trail and back. That sun worked me. I am studying Ecology and Geology and the Mohave is a great classroom. Anyways those are now just some amazing memories. Back to the academics and the community of Prescott College.
